About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Underwriter to join a growing division of an international insurance company and establish an all-new Allied Health program. This is a highly visible opportunity to work directly with executive leadership to build a new division focused on allied healthcare insurance underwriting.

In this role, you will serve as the program lead and underwriting manager, responsible for assessing and pricing Allied Healthcare Professional Liability. You will focus on miscellaneous medical and allied healthcare entities, including blood banks, weight loss centers, community health facilities, substance abuse centers, medical spas, outpatient surgery centers, ambulances, hospitals, home healthcare, hospices, nursing homes, and physician groups.

As the number one person in the group, you will be tasked with developing, maintaining, and growing a book of Allied Healthcare business. You will also play a key role in growing the underwriting team, providing input to hiring, training, and coaching initiatives.
