About the Opportunity

We are launching an exciting new Allied Healthcare division and building the department from the ground up. This high-profile role within an industry-leading organization offers a unique chance to help grow a new product line from inception. We are seeking an experienced underwriter with specific expertise in allied healthcare professional liability lines to lead this initiative.

About the Role

In this position, you will underwrite a diverse range of risks across the allied healthcare spectrum. Your portfolio will include Ambulatory Surgery Centers (outpatient, same-day surgery, and surgicenters), dental clinics, drug and alcohol testing facilities, clinical and medical testing labs, and pharmacies. Additionally, you will manage coverage for adult day care centers, rehab centers, medical spas, chiropractors, dialysis centers, sleep clinics, weight loss clinics, and various individual practitioners such as therapists, dieticians, paramedics, EMTs, and social workers.

While the primary location is Springfield, IL, remote work from home may be available. This role is designed for a professional ready to shape the future of a specialized coverage line.
