About the Role
Diedre Moire Corporation, Inc. is seeking an experienced Insurance Program Underwriter specializing in Parking Garages to join our Commercial Lines team in Lansing, MI. This role is pivotal for evaluating risk, selecting submissions, and pricing complex exposures within the Excess Surplus market. The position offers the flexibility of remote work from home, allowing you to operate within a people-oriented culture that values comprehensive professional growth.
In this capacity, you will underwrite individual risk selections for the Parking Garage business while serving as a strategic resource to subordinate underwriting levels, other departments, and external agents. You will be responsible for communicating underwriting appetite and strategies to agents, developing new agency relationships, and maintaining a core group of partners. Additionally, you will assist management in the development and enhancement of insurance forms.
