About the Role

We are seeking a Long Tail & Latent Claims Examiner to handle, review, and coordinate activities involved in complex claims. This position focuses on long-tail and latent type claims, requiring a deep understanding of environmental, toxic tort, asbestos, pollution, and health hazard issues. The role involves reviewing loss notices, interpreting policy coverage, establishing reserves, and handling claims involving primary, excess, and umbrella coverage.

In this capacity, you will coordinate defense counsel and expert witnesses, generally supporting defense efforts while evaluating liability and damages. You will also aid in the development and improvement of claims handling techniques, manage expense control, and implement strategic protocols. This role is based in High Point, NC, with remote work from home available.
