Ventura College, established in 1925, is one of California's first community colleges. We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis for part-time Instructors (Non-Contract/Temporary) for the Fall 2026 semester. This role provides comprehensive classroom instruction to students from diverse backgrounds, facilitating the attainment of their academic or vocational objectives. Instructors may be employed up to 67% of a full-time assignment.
The position involves providing instruction through lecture, lab, or performance courses, assessing student cognitive abilities, and advising students on programs of study and study skills. Instructors are expected to plan and organize instruction according to approved course outlines, maintain accurate records of student progress, and collaborate with discipline faculty to revise course content and syllabi. This role is ideal for those dedicated to fostering multicultural awareness and mutual respect within the classroom.
