About the Role
We are currently seeking a part-time Route Delivery Driver to join our team at our Albuquerque, NM Hub. In this role, you will be the vital link in our cold chain operations, ensuring life science freight is delivered safely and on time. You will operate a small box truck or cargo van, navigating both in-state and out-of-state routes with precision.
Your day will begin early, with shifts starting as early as 5:00 AM on Sundays and Mondays. You will be responsible for adhering to strict, time-sensitive schedules while utilizing GPS and scanning devices to navigate surrounding areas. Beyond driving, the role involves a hands-on approach to vehicle maintenance and care, including performing daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fueling the truck, and cleaning, washing, and sanitizing the assigned vehicle.
Working Conditions
This position requires working outdoors in various weather conditions, including exposure to heat in the summer and cold in the winter. You will frequently lift and move up to 50 pounds, as well as perform physical tasks such as stooping, bending, kneeling, and squatting. The work environment may occasionally involve wet or humid conditions, fumes, or airborne particles, with a moderate noise level.

Candidates must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record (2 or fewer moving violations in the past 3 years and no DWI/DUI in the past 5 years). A background check is required. Applicants should possess basic computer, tablet, and smartphone skills, along with experience driving cargo vans and box trucks.
