About the Role
As an Instructional Support Assistant, you will serve as a vital partner to the classroom teacher, working under their direct supervision to enhance the instructional program. Your primary goal is to help create a nurturing atmosphere where students can fully benefit from their education.
In this position, you will work closely with students to reinforce concepts introduced by the teacher, providing both individual and small-group instruction. You will guide students through independent study and enrichment activities, assist them in utilizing classroom technology, and help plan lessons alongside the teacher. Your presence in the classroom will support the teacher's planning time and contribute to monitoring and reporting student progress.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this position will be evaluated annually by the Principal. The role is part of the 2026-2027 school year contract, consisting of 185 days of employment.
