UAM, one of twenty campuses of the University of Arkansas System, is located in southeastern Arkansas in the beautiful timberlands, rich in outdoor recreation activities, and approximately 100 miles south of Little Rock. UAM is a comprehensive, residential and commuter, undergraduate institution also offering selected master's degree programs.
This position supports the UAM | Warehouse department by maintaining a clean, safe, and functional environment. The role involves a variety of custodial tasks including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors; emptying waste baskets; and cleaning restroom facilities. The incumbent will also perform specialized duties such as stripping and waxing floors, using pressure washers for exterior windows, and wiping down furniture and surfaces. The role requires flexibility to extend arms above the head, squat, bend, and lift approximately 25 lbs, as well as the ability to climb stairs repeatedly. Occasional work in excess of 40 hours and being on-call as needed are expected.
