About the Team
JMT's Hunt Valley Construction Management Group is seeking an Inspector II to join our team. We are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of structural quality, safety, and compliance in every project we undertake.
About the Role
As an Inspector II, you will apply standard inspection procedures to ongoing activities during and after construction. Your focus will be ensuring structural quality, general safety, and conformance to plans, specifications, and codes. You will review and interpret plans and site layouts, perform routine tests on concrete, soils, and other materials, and measure dimensions to verify level, alignment, and elevation. This role requires gathering and maintaining record documents, as well as making field notes and computations to support our commitment to excellence.
Working Conditions
This position is performed in the field. You must be able to extensively perform bending, kneeling, standing, shoveling, and lifting and carrying objects weighing up to 25 lbs as needed. Work may be conducted outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
