About the Role
We are seeking an Inpatient Occupational Therapist to join our team at MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital. This role is designed for a licensed professional with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in a cohesive team environment. You will serve as a vital resource in your area of expertise, guiding patients through their recovery journey with evidence-based care and clinical reasoning.
In this position, you will be the primary driver of patient outcomes, managing the full spectrum of care from initial evaluation and treatment planning to implementation and discharge. Beyond direct patient care, you will play an active role in staff development, serving as a preceptor for new employees and students, and contributing to process improvements that enhance both patient care and operational efficiency.
