Information Security Risk Specialist

The Opportunity

Cyber threats are ubiquitous, and their constantly evolving nature can make understanding them seem overwhelming to Department of War (DoW) organizations. Amidst this "cyber noise," the Information Security Risk Specialist role exists to help these organizations understand their risks and develop actionable mitigation strategies. You will act as a bridge, breaking down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As a specialist on our team, you will partner with DoW leaders to identify cyber risks, interpret applicable policies, and craft comprehensive mitigation plans. Your day-to-day involves reviewing technical and personnel details from subject matter experts to assess the entire threat landscape. You will then guide your client through a strategic plan of action, utilizing presentations, whitepapers, and defined milestones to ensure clarity and execution.

This role offers a unique opportunity to translate security concepts for customers, empowering them to make informed decisions to secure their mission-critical networks. You will serve as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in cybersecurity governance, risk management, and compliance.
