Join our team in Kansas City, MO, at 11200 E. 210 Highway as an experienced Maintenance Technician. This role is critical to supporting the goals of our Distribution Center by ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our automated material handling systems. You will be part of a team dedicated to keeping operations running smoothly through proactive maintenance and rapid response to facility needs.
This is an onsite position on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. As a Maintenance Technician, you will report to a Facilities Supervisor and serve as a key resource for the facility's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure. Your day-to-day involves performing preventative maintenance, general repairs, and complex projects on conveyors, sorters, shuttles, and related assets. You will also respond to calls regarding building issues, conveyor jams, or shutdowns, ensuring minimal disruption to our operations.
Beyond the automated systems, you will maintain a wide range of facility equipment, including cranes, drill presses, welding equipment, and hydraulic presses. You will also operate all automated material handling and mobile equipment within the Distribution Center, as well as maintain the PIE fleet and associate assets like picking cars and battery changing equipment. The role requires interpreting MEP drawings and schematics while utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track daily activities.
