The Future Bars Group is dedicated to creating vibrant social experiences across Downtown San Francisco. We are currently expanding our team to ensure our venues remain safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for all guests.
We are seeking an ID Checker/Door Person to serve as the first point of contact for our venues, including Swig/Bottle Club Pub and Lark. In this role, you will be the guardian of our guest experience, responsible for greeting visitors warmly while ensuring compliance with safety and legal standards. Your day will involve qualifying identification according to ABC guidelines, monitoring guests for signs of intoxication, and de-escalating conflicts to maintain a harmonious atmosphere. You will also work closely with supervisors to manage guest flow effectively.
This position is ideal for individuals with experience in the restaurant, bar, or hotel industries, or those eager to learn the ropes of security and hospitality. The role requires flexible evening availability, typically operating Thursday through Saturday from 6 pm to 2 am.
