About the Role

This position supports the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) - 3 EOM, providing high-quality IT platform and network services to USSOCOM, its Component Commands, Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), deployed forces, and end-users. Located at MacDill AFB in Florida, this role is pivotal to the CIO/J6 organization and the end-users who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

As a Systems Administrator, you will perform administrative support in accordance with the SIE OPORD. Your day-to-day involves continuously observing the operation of assigned applications and storage devices to monitor system health and determine points of failure. When individual units malfunction, you will manipulate systems in accordance with standard procedures to ensure continuous operations. You will also confer with software systems engineering or applications programming personnel when errors require changes to instructions or sequences of operations. This role requires shift work to maintain the critical infrastructure supporting special operations forces.
