This position serves as a pivotal link between project execution and business development within our mechanical retrofit division. The role is designed for a professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, balancing the technical demands of complex HVAC systems with the strategic needs of project management. You will be responsible for the overall execution and performance of mechanical retrofit projects, ensuring they adhere to Johnson Controls' standardized procedures while achieving strong financial results.
In this role, you will devote approximately 50% of your time to business development and 50% to project execution. You will act as a technical resource for the sales team, assisting in project development, pre-bid reviews, and the creation of proposals. Your day-to-day activities involve coordinating mechanics and subcontractors, managing material procurement and logistics, and overseeing the retrofit process to ensure compliance with specifications and local codes. You will also lead job progress meetings, manage project schedules, and ensure a smooth transition of projects to the Truck-Based team upon completion.
