About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented HVAC Designer to join our dynamic team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and sustainability of heating and cooling systems for residential new construction projects across the continental United States. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing HVAC systems that meet project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements.
Day in the Life
You will develop comprehensive HVAC system designs using Right Suite Universal software, performing heating and cooling load calculations for residential homes across diverse U.S. geographies. Your work will involve sizing and selecting appropriate HVAC equipment in accordance with ACCA Manual S, while assisting in achieving target duct testing volumes within designs. You will ensure all HVAC designs comply with local, state, and national building codes and standards, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies. A fundamental understanding of materials and field applications will be essential to your success in this position.
