This position serves as a dedicated point of contact within a manufacturing plant environment, acting as a company ambassador for new hires. The role focuses on delivering professional, cordial, and informative assistance to employees, ensuring a positive and welcoming onboarding experience. You will guide new team members through the initial orientation process and assist with necessary paperwork, demonstrating a positive and outgoing attitude throughout your interactions.
The role is based in a typical office setting located within a manufacturing facility. While the primary duties involve computer and telephone usage, the environment includes exposure to industrial elements such as noise levels exceeding 85 decibels, CO2, and moving production lines. The workspace may also feature damp, wet, or cold conditions, as well as live and/or raw animal odors. The position requires the ability to sit for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs. All required personal protection equipment is provided to ensure safety.
