This position serves as a strategic partner to market leaders, dedicated to fostering a genuine safety culture and driving a positive employee experience. The role exists to ensure that HR practices align with business objectives, ultimately driving market success through engagement, retention, and operational excellence.
You will act as a present, active thought partner, identifying gaps in the associate experience and prioritizing action plans. A key focus is championing the value of safety, challenging leaders to set the right tone, and holding them accountable for proactive efforts. You will also support the organization through labor negotiations, talent assessment, and the implementation of strategic HR campaigns that accelerate ROI and drive cultural change.
The day-to-day involves collaborating with front-line leaders, managers, and directors across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales. You will spend significant time interacting with associates across multiple locations, including distribution centers and driver domicile yards, while occasionally visiting customers. This role requires a balance of office-based work and field presence to effectively support the workforce and maintain compliance with employment laws.
Candidates selected for this role will be invited to participate in a series of interviews designed to assess technical HR knowledge, cultural fit, and strategic thinking. The process typically includes an initial screening, followed by deeper discussions with hiring managers and potential team members to evaluate experience in employee relations and collective bargaining environments.
