This position serves as a strategic partner to market leaders, dedicated to fostering a genuine safety culture and driving a positive employee experience. The role exists to bridge the gap between business objectives and human capital strategy, ensuring that HR practices not only comply with regulations but actively contribute to market success.
You will act as a present, active thought partner, identifying gaps in the associate experience and leading action planning to improve engagement, retention, and EPS. A key part of your day involves collaborating with HR stakeholders to execute communication and change campaigns, helping leaders create the necessary beliefs and experiences for associates to drive cultural shifts and results. You will also support the organization through labor negotiations, talent assessment, and the administration of complex employee relations matters.
While this role is based in a US Foods office environment, it requires significant interaction with associates across multiple locations, including distribution centers and driver domicile yards. You will occasionally visit customer sites with territory managers and travel approximately 10-15% of the time. The position involves regular driving and interaction with associates at all levels, from front-line leaders to directors across Finance, Supply Chain, and Sales.
Candidates selected for this role will be considered for an annual incentive plan bonus up to 10% of base salary.
