This position serves as a strategic partner to market leaders, dedicated to fostering a genuine safety culture and driving a positive employee experience. The role exists to bridge the gap between business objectives and human capital strategy, ensuring that HR practices not only comply with regulations but actively contribute to market success, retention, and engagement.
You will act as a present, active thought partner, identifying gaps in the associate experience and leading action planning to resolve them. A significant portion of your day involves collaborating with Area leaders, HR stakeholders, and compliance teams to execute strategic communication campaigns, manage complex employee relations investigations, and support talent development initiatives. From guiding interactive processes for leave administration to coaching leaders on performance management, you will be instrumental in shaping the culture and operational rhythm of the market.
The work environment is primarily office-based but requires significant interaction across multiple locations, including distribution centers and driver domicile yards. You will be expected to travel occasionally to support territory managers and engage directly with associates at all levels to ensure consistent execution of company policies and programs.
