About the Opportunity
The Housekeeping Supervisor plays a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety within our facility. This position is essential for ensuring a comfortable, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our residents. The role involves performing both basic and heavy cleaning functions across assigned areas, adhering strictly to established community schedules and protocols.
Day-to-day responsibilities include dusting surfaces, emptying waste, sanitizing bathrooms, mopping floors, and spot-cleaning walls and windows. The supervisor also manages the replenishment of room supplies, vacuums carpets, and handles heavier tasks such as shampooing carpets and cleaning light fixtures when required. A critical component of this role is the strict adherence to infection control measures and Standard Precautions, ensuring the safety of everyone in the community. The supervisor must utilize only approved cleaning products, follow all safety instructions, and properly maintain and store cleaning equipment.
