Orchard Cove, part of Hebrew Senior Life, is dedicated to providing a supportive and dignified environment for its residents. The organization's mission centers on recognizing resident dignity and choice in all aspects of daily life, fostering a culture of caring where every individual is treated with respect and compassion.
The Housekeeper Lead serves as a vital link between operational excellence and resident well-being. Beyond maintaining the facility in a clean, sanitary, and orderly fashion, this role is defined by a deep commitment to the community. You will act as a backup to the Housekeeping Manager, stepping in to oversee staff, attend meetings with residents and families, and ensure quality standards are met across all departments.
In this position, you will not only perform daily cleaning tasks but also supervise the team to ensure assignments are completed efficiently. A secondary, equally important aspect of the role is interacting with the Orchard Cove community; you will treat all residents, families, and visitors with respect, listening attentively to their concerns and responding in a calm, sensitive, and supportive manner. You will be the first point of contact for cleaning-related emergencies and will collaborate closely with nursing staff to address observed resident needs, ensuring a safe and healthful environment for everyone.
Hebrew Senior Life is committed to creating a culture of caring and integrity. We value diversity and strive to provide an inclusive workplace where employees are encouraged to act with honesty and good work ethic. We consider all applicants without regard to background, focusing on their ability to contribute to our mission of dignity and choice.
