This position is dedicated to maintaining the safety, cleanliness, and aesthetic appeal of both patient and non-patient care areas within the hospital. The role is vital to the hospital's mission of providing a healing environment, ensuring that every space is disinfected and orderly to support patient well-being and staff efficiency.
Day in the Life
You will actively participate in department quality and performance improvement activities while adhering to strict infection control guidelines. Your daily routine involves completing a comprehensive 7-step cleaning process to disinfect areas, practicing universal precautions, and managing floor maintenance tasks in accordance with departmental policies. You will also be responsible for keeping equipment, storage rooms, and environmental closets in an orderly fashion.
