About the Role
TravelNurseSource is partnering with Fusion Medical Staffing to find a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to join a 12-week assignment in Charleston, West Virginia. This role is designed for a skilled professional dedicated to providing end-of-life care, focusing on comfort, pain management, and emotional support for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

- check_circleCoordinate care with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and social workers
- check_circleDocument all care provided, symptom changes, and family interactions accurately
- check_circleEnsure adherence to hospice best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- check_circleOffer emotional and psychological support to patients and their loved ones
- check_circleComplete charting and documentation requirements while meeting visit goals
- check_circleAdhere to infection control, safety, and healthcare regulations
- check_circleMonitor changes in patient condition and adjust interventions accordingly
- check_circleEducate and support families regarding symptom management and end-of-life care
Requirements
- verifiedOne year of recent RN experience
- verifiedMinimum six months in hospice setting as RN
- verifiedValid RN license in compliance with state regulations
- verifiedBLS certification (AHA/ARC)
- verifiedAbility to read, write, and communicate in English
- verifiedProficiency in PC skills
