As a House Person, you are the backbone of our hotel's operational excellence, ensuring that every guest encounters a pristine environment from the moment they arrive. This role is designed to complement our room attendants and support staff, creating a seamless workflow that maintains the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Your day will be a dynamic mix of proactive maintenance and responsive service. You will be responsible for the thorough cleaning of rooms, halls, offices, and all public spaces, ensuring every area is guest-ready. Beyond standard cleaning, you will act as a versatile support member, assisting room attendants with heavy items like mattresses and soiled linens, and delivering necessary supplies to keep their workflow uninterrupted.
You will also serve as a first point of contact for guest needs, responding promptly to requests for additional linens, cots, or other housekeeping supplies. Your duties extend to specialized floor care, including shampooing carpets, stripping and waxing VCT floors, and steam cleaning ceramic tiles. Additionally, you will manage trash collection throughout the hotel, from guest rooms to vending areas and restrooms.
Safety and preparedness are central to your responsibilities. You must maintain a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures and adhere strictly to safety standards, reporting or correcting any hazardous conditions immediately. Whether it is assisting with snow and ice removal, performing minor maintenance tasks like changing light bulbs or checking pool chemicals, or helping with meeting room setups, you will ensure the hotel operates smoothly and safely.
