As a Hotel Maintenance Technician, you will serve as the backbone of our property's operational excellence. Your primary mission is to ensure that every guest room and public space remains in pristine condition, directly contributing to a seamless and comfortable experience for our 20 million+ annual visitors. This role is not just about fixing broken items; it is about proactive care, anticipating needs, and maintaining the physical plant with a high standard of craftsmanship.
You will work autonomously to manage mechanical systems, guest room repairs, and grounds maintenance. From troubleshooting HVAC units and plumbing fixtures to managing pool chemistry and electrical systems, your day-to-day involves a dynamic mix of skilled trades. You will be the first point of contact for urgent maintenance issues, requiring you to move quickly and agilely to resolve problems while maintaining a friendly, service-oriented demeanor with guests and colleagues alike.
We value a team that is self-sufficient, safety-conscious, and dedicated to hospitality. As a non-exempt engineer reporting to the Area Chief Engineer, you will often work independently, making informed decisions regarding the physical plant and departmental challenges. You will also have the opportunity to direct other engineering associates and coordinate with external contractors, fostering a collaborative environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a practical assessment of their technical skills in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, followed by a behavioral interview focusing on customer service aptitude and problem-solving abilities. Successful applicants will be invited to meet with the Area Chief Engineer to discuss role expectations and team fit before receiving an offer.
We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We are committed to providing a safe and inclusive work environment for all associates.
