About the Role

This temporary, full-time position is based at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel. You will serve as a vital link in maintaining the property's operational excellence and guest comfort. Your day will involve responding to and resolving guest repair requests, ensuring that maintenance issues are handled with speed and professionalism. You will perform preventive maintenance on tools and mechanical room equipment, conduct visual inspections, and manage inventory for parts and supplies.

The role requires a versatile skill set, from troubleshooting electrical components and plumbing issues to performing surface preparation, painting, and minor repairs. You will also manage landscaping and sprinkler systems, program TVs, and utilize computer systems for scheduling and temperature controls. Safety is paramount; you will strictly adhere to Lockout/Tagout systems and company safety policies while handling equipment and materials. Beyond technical duties, you will welcome guests, assist individuals with disabilities, and maintain a clean, professional appearance to uphold our quality standards.

Hiring Process

This is a temporary position with flexible shifts. Availability for holidays and weekends is preferred. Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their ability to work as part of a team, communicate clearly with guests and colleagues, and handle physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 pounds and navigating stairs or ladders.
