This non-profit arts organization operates with an annual budget of $80 million and manages $3 billion in county assets. The organization is divided into three main divisions: TMC Arts, TMC Ops, and TMC Business Services.
TMC Arts serves as the programming engine, presenting world-class dance, free and low-cost public concerts, and K–12 arts learning programs across four renowned theatres (Walt Disney Concert Hall, Dorothy Chandler Pavilion, Ahmanson Theatre, and Mark Taper Forum), Jerry Moss Plaza, Gloria Molina Grand Park, and local schools. The Music Center is also home to four resident companies: Center Theatre Group, Los Angeles Master Chorale, LA Opera, and LA Phil.
The Guest Services Host Usher is a vital part of the Guest Services Department, which ensures the safety and enjoyment of the guest experience. Reporting to the Guest Services Manager, you will welcome and assist guests in theater auditoriums, lecture halls, and outdoor spaces. Your presence helps create a welcoming atmosphere, guiding patrons through their journey from arrival to their seats.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for many visitors, answering inquiries accurately and politely while managing ticket scanning and directing guest flow. You will also assist with special events in the Founders Rooms and provide support to senior individuals or guests with disabilities, including escorting them to their seats. Your work ensures a clean, safe, and organized environment for both employees and guests.
