About the Team
Tennessee Donor Services (TDS) is a designated organ procurement organization (OPO) within the state of Tennessee and a proud member of the DCI Donor Services family. For over four decades, DCI has been a leader in working to end the transplant waiting list. Our unique approach to service allows for nationwide donation, transplantation, and distribution of organs and tissues while maintaining close ties to our local communities.
We operate organ procurement and tissue recovery organizations across California, New Mexico, and Tennessee, including the DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank and Sierra Donor Services Eye Bank. Our performance is measured by the way we serve donor families and recipients; to be successful in this endeavor is our ultimate mission. Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop and implement strategic plans for hospitals to maximize organ and tissue donation potential
- check_circleServe as a liaison to hospital staff during the donation process to ensure effective communication
- check_circleConduct data analysis and marketing initiatives to maximize donation potential
- check_circleDocument all interactions with medical facilities
- check_circleEngage with physicians, nurses, and coroner staff to facilitate donation and champion process improvements
- check_circleDevelop and present regular education to hospital staff on organ and tissue donation benefits and processes
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree in healthcare administration, public health, or related field
- verified2 years marketing experience, preferably within the medical or donation industry
- verifiedUnderstanding of the healthcare system and hospital operations
- verifiedCPTC preferred
- verifiedWorking knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
- verifiedValid Driver's license with ability to pass MVR underwriting requirements
- verifiedFirst dose of the COVID-19 vaccine by start date or proof of vaccination
