Medical City Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Hospice Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality end-of-life care within our Healthcare & Medical Services department. In this field-based role, you will manage a caseload of hospice patients, providing care in homes or facilities. You will serve as a vital advocate for patient comfort, dignity, and goals of care throughout the hospice journey, ensuring that every interaction reflects our core values of empathy, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, and managing pain and symptoms in close coordination with an interdisciplinary team of physicians, social workers, and chaplains. Beyond clinical duties, you will play a key role in educating patients and families on disease processes, comfort measures, and available resources, while also supporting their bereavement and emotional needs.
