We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. In this role, you will utilize your clinical expertise to assess, teach, and deliver therapy interventions and treatments directed by a Physician, as established in the home health plan of care. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, receiving and providing pertinent updates to optimize patient well-being.
This is a full-time position requiring Monday through Friday visits to cover clients in the Beaufort and Ridgeland communities. As a PTA, you will treat clients to relieve pain and develop or restore function to maintain maximum performance. Your day-to-day involves providing skilled therapy services, communicating regularly with patients and caregivers regarding their plan of care, and educating families on the safe use of assistive devices such as canes, walkers, and wheelchairs.
Candidates must possess a graduation certificate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant education program and hold a current, unrestricted state license as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice. A valid CPR certification is also required.
