About the Role

We are urgently seeking compassionate Home Care Aides to join our team in supporting seniors and individuals with disabilities who live independently but require assistance with daily tasks. This position serves a vital function, ensuring clients receive the nurturing care they need to maintain their quality of life at home.

As a Core Home Care Aide, you will be on call five days per week, including at least one weekend day, for a 40-hour work week (with 20 hours guaranteed). You will report to the office each morning to receive assignments and must be available for 24-hour on-call shifts. This role requires a nurturing and compassionate nature, the ability to work with limited supervision, and a genuine desire to care for others.

Working Conditions

This position involves significant physical activity. You must be able to sit, talk, and hear, as well as use your hands to handle controls. The role frequently requires standing, walking, stooping, and bending to prepare equipment or manage the client's environment. You will be responsible for transferring, turning, and positioning clients, as well as assisting them with ambulation. Physical demands include lifting in excess of 15 lbs, with or without assistance, and reaching with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities, including close vision and the ability to adjust focus, are required.
