About the Role
This position serves as a cornerstone of the instructional process, dedicated to fostering a safe, positive, and effective learning environment for all students. As a Regular Education Teacher, you will supervise students within the classroom and assigned areas while delivering both group and individual instruction aligned with established curriculum guidelines.
The role is designed to support the school's mission by ensuring compliance with directives from School Administration, Board of Education policies, and state and federal laws. You will act as a primary liaison between the school and families, responding to inquiries from parents and guardians regarding the instructional program and individual student progress. Additionally, you will collaborate with fellow teachers, professional staff, and administrators to address instructional challenges and contribute to the broader school improvement plan.
Reporting directly to the Principal, this position requires a dynamic educator capable of managing classroom operations, directing assistant teachers and volunteers, and counseling students on academic performance, behavior, and personal development. The role also involves preparing essential documentation, such as lesson plans, assessments, and attendance records, to maintain mandated requirements and track student competency.
