This position is based at the Gainesville Operations Center, located at 5301 NE 39 Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, on various terrains, and at various heights or in high-volume traffic. Incumbents must be readily available to respond to emergencies and may work with or around Department of Corrections inmates.
Eligibility & Citizenship Candidates must be United States (U.S.) citizens or lawfully authorized alien workers. Visa sponsorship is not available. Male applicants born on or after October 1, 1962, must be registered with the Selective Service System (SSS) before their 26th birthday to be eligible for hire.

For positions requiring a Commercial Driver License (CDL), applicants must register with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration's Drug and Alcohol (FMCSA) Clearinghouse for a pre-employment query.
