About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated High School Teacher to lead Health Education at Southeast High School. In this role, you will be instrumental in fostering a culture of wellness, guiding students toward healthy lifestyle choices, and ensuring every learner has the opportunity to succeed regardless of their physical or academic skill level.
You will serve as a vital resource for the student body, utilizing creative instructional methods and technology to bring the curriculum to life. Your day-to-day impact will be measured by your ability to design engaging lessons, provide constructive feedback, and model the benefits of a healthy lifestyle. From conducting physical fitness testing with Fitness Gram to implementing school-wide initiatives like the Coordinated Approach To Child Health (CATCH), you will play a key part in the district's commitment to student well-being.
Hiring Process
Interested candidates should review the current SEA Salary Schedule for the 2026-2027 contract period to understand compensation details. Applications are accepted for the 180-day contract period beginning on the first contractual day of the 2026-2027 school year.
