We are seeking a dedicated Social Studies Teacher for Wayzata High School to join our Alternative Learning Program. This role carries the significant responsibility of continuing our long-standing commitment to academic excellence. You will design and deliver Social Studies instruction tailored to ensure the success of a diverse population of learners.
Beyond the classroom, you will be responsible for building positive relationships and working collaboratively with students, parents, and staff members to foster a positive experience for the entire learning community. You will join a supportive community of "good people" who work well together and find joy in their work. The district offers a robust support system, including mentorship for first-year teachers and ongoing professional development opportunities through peer coaches, courses, and study groups.
