The Opportunity

If you are obsessed with history and using the past to understand the present (as well as predict the future), a role as a History Teacher at Mastery is for you. You will have unit plans and guides provided by our Central Office and access to world-class curriculum from TCI and the DBQ Project that will help you help your students develop a love of history.

From 7th through 12th Grades, Mastery's students learn Ancient World History, African American History, Modern World History, US History, and Government/Economics (as well as have the chance to take AP Modern World History, AP US History, and AP Government/Economics). At Mastery, we value Continuous Improvement and want you to learn and grow in your craft. We utilize a team of Assistant Principals, central-office coaches, and school-based content teams to provide every teacher coaching and feedback. You will receive professional development annually and have a professional development allowance to use to further your growth.
