About Argosy Collegiate Charter School

Argosy Collegiate Charter School (ACCS) proudly provides a tuition-free, college preparatory, small school environment for scholars to grow, learn, and develop collegiate dispositions and capacities. We are open to all learners and are focused on transforming college and career readiness for our scholars. Our vision for success in college, career, and life applies to 100% of our scholars, creating a sense of urgency in our work to deliver high academic achievement for all.

About the Role

At ACCS, successful teachers are flexible, data-driven, and deeply engaged in the feedback and coaching cycle to ensure cohesiveness in instruction, classroom culture, and academic outcomes. You will partner with colleagues to develop and enact well-developed repertoires of effective instructional strategies, including developing scholars' disciplinary literacy in your content area.

Your day will involve creating and executing rigorous daily lesson plans that align to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, utilizing a range of data sources to drive instruction and plan for supports. You will fully engage in co-teaching models with general education, special education, and English language teachers to provide varied and differentiated instruction. This role requires intentionally planning for differentiation and scaffolding to provide equity and access, ensuring every scholar is challenged and motivated to meet their full potential.

Beyond the classroom, you will engage with families in a culturally responsive and collaborative manner, working to remove barriers to involvement and ensuring all families feel welcome. You will help create a positive, warm, and achievement-oriented environment where scholars own their learning, behaviors, and choices, while holding them to a high bar of excellence, integrity, and accountability.

Our Culture and Values

We foster a professional culture where educators demonstrate a reflective and solutions-oriented disposition. You will actively participate in professional development, data analysis, and planning meetings, engaging in a continuous cycle of feedback and improvement regarding instruction and classroom culture. Our team exemplifies the Argosy Collegiate DREAM values in all communications with scholars, families, and colleagues, adhering to a code of ethics that protects student, family, and staff confidentiality.

Equal Opportunity

Argosy Collegiate Charter School is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or veteran status.
