The Construction Project Manager serves as the Owner's representative, orchestrating the end-to-end lifecycle of capital construction projects within healthcare and institutional settings. This position is pivotal in bridging the gap between complex design requirements and physical execution, ensuring that projects are delivered on scope, within budget, and on schedule while maintaining the highest standards of safety and infection prevention.
You will act as the central hub for a diverse array of stakeholders, including internal and external customers, architects, engineers, code officials, contractors, and specialized agency entities such as Security and IT. Your day-to-day involves navigating the full programming, design, bidding, contracting, construction, and closeout phases. Success in this role requires the judgment to lead project teams when necessary and to collaborate effectively as a team member when appropriate, all while operating independently with minimal direct supervision.
The environment is fast-paced and dynamic, often requiring adaptability to frequent changes and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Depending on the project's critical milestones, you may be required to be on-site during evenings or weekends to ensure continuous progress and adherence to strict operational requirements.
