About the Role
DSI is hiring Healthcare Customer Service/Access Control Officers for HH Health System at Huntsville Hospital's main campus. You will join a diverse and inclusive team that believes in providing excellent customer service and recognizes that its employees are its biggest asset.
In this role, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, responsible for greeting guests, verifying identification, and issuing visitor passes via computer systems. Beyond access control, you will assist customers in navigating the facility, answer inquiries, and provide directions. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, maintain a positive attitude, and possess strong communication skills.
Training and Development
All new hires participate in a required one-week training program (Monday–Friday, 7 AM–5 PM). During this intensive session, you will learn critical skills including verbal de-escalation, management of aggressive behavior, CPR, and healthcare-specific computer systems.
Schedule and Environment
This is a 40-hour work week with the option to pick up overtime when available. Shifts are available in the following rotations:
- Sunday – Wednesday (Day: 6 AM–6 PM or Night: 6 PM–6 AM)
- Wednesday – Saturday (Day: 6 AM–6 PM or Night: 6 PM–6 AM)
Note: Wednesdays are half-shifts of 6 hours.
