Event & Sales Manager

About the Role

This exempt position serves as a key support function within the Food & Beverage operations, focusing on consolidated purchasing and vendor management. The role is designed to ensure the seamless acquisition of goods and services while maintaining compliance with all relevant legal standards. You will act as a bridge between operational needs and financial constraints, utilizing data analysis and negotiation skills to drive value.

The position requires a blend of office-based analytical work and physical capability to support property operations. You will spend significant time at a desk preparing and analyzing data, figures, and transcriptions using accounting programs, Microsoft Word, and Excel. However, the role also demands the ability to move around the property, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs and pushing or pulling carts and equipment weighing up to 250 lbs to facilitate timely communication and support across various hotel departments.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a candidate with a High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred. The ideal applicant brings a minimum of two years of purchasing experience, with a specific emphasis on consolidated purchasing. Experience in food and beverage purchasing is highly valued, with at least one year in this specific sector required.

Success in this role depends on strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
