About the Role
As the Head of Tax, you will report directly to the Chief Accounting Officer. In this strategic leadership position, you will ensure compliance with all federal and state tax laws, develop and implement tax planning strategies, oversee tax audits and controversies, and actively participate in the Company's tax advocacy efforts. You will serve as a thought leader, collaborating with Government Relations and trade associations to support advocacy for tax matters of importance to the Company. Your day-to-day involves advising Finance leadership and business partners on complex tax reporting issues, guiding tax audit activities, and maintaining strong relationships with external auditors and counsel. You will also be responsible for coaching and developing a team of tax professionals, ensuring a strong control environment in compliance with SOX and MAR requirements.
