About the Role

We are seeking our first Head of Finance / Expert in Residence, a unique "Swiss Army knife" role that goes far beyond traditional finance leadership. You will serve as the internal Finance leader while acting as a subject matter expert for our product and engineering teams, specifically our revenue recognition squad.

Because we sell to finance teams, this role offers an unparalleled opportunity to represent Sequence with peers at industry events, customer calls, and onsite presentations. You will drive material value across Finance, Product, and Go-To-Market functions. Reporting directly to the Co-Founder/COO, you will initially collaborate with our fractional UK and US accounting teams before bringing accounting fully in-house. This is a central, long-term role designed for someone ready to grow with us for 3-4+ years.
