As a Hadoop Technical Lead, you will serve as the cornerstone of our Big Data infrastructure, providing end-to-end ownership of the Hadoop ecosystem. This role is designed for a seasoned architect who thrives on solving complex challenges and ensuring the seamless integration of data management and analysis platforms. You will not only maintain the health of the environment but also shape its future by defining architecture, driving optimization initiatives, and establishing best practices for the entire organization.
In this position, you will act as the primary technical escalation point (L3) for production issues, guiding teams through performance bottlenecks and system reliability challenges. Your day-to-day involves translating high-level business requirements into scalable technical solutions, overseeing cluster configurations, and managing critical upgrades and migrations. You will work closely with Data Engineers, BI teams, and infrastructure groups to ensure that data ingestion, processing, and storage mechanisms are robust, secure, and efficient.

Familiarity with cloud-based Hadoop solutions (e.g., AWS EMR, Azure HDInsight). Experience with data modeling and ETL processes. Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and tools. Understanding of data management and analysis. Automation using Python, Shell, Ansible, or similar tools. Relevant certifications in Hadoop or Big Data technologies.
