About the Team

Trident Health and the Carolina Center of Gynecologic Oncology are seeking a Gynecologic Oncologist to join an established team in Charleston, South Carolina. Trident Cancer Center offers a comprehensive treatment program featuring Radiation Oncology, HDR treatment, and a full-service infusion center. The center includes a dedicated 21-bed inpatient oncology unit, a multidisciplinary tumor board, and a complex operating room with over 6,000 procedures performed across five da Vinci surgical suites. This environment provides advanced minimally invasive options for complex gynecologic procedures.

Trident Health System is a 555-bed tertiary-care system serving patients and families in Berkeley, Charleston, and Dorchester Counties for over 40 years. The system includes Trident Medical Center, a 321-bed major medical center with a 24-hour emergency room and Level II Trauma Center. Designated as a Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center, the facility also houses an award-winning Heart Center, the South Carolina Institute for Robotic Surgery, the Trident Breast Care Center, and the Joseph M. Still Burn Clinic.

About the Role

As a Gynecologic Oncologist, you will provide clinical expertise, leadership, and excellence in patient care within a hospital-employed opportunity through HCA Physician Services Group. The role involves a call schedule of 1:4 and requires strong interpersonal and communication skills. Candidates with robotic interest and capabilities are strongly preferred to leverage the center's advanced surgical suites.
