About the Role

As a Repair Tech (Guitar), you will provide maintenance and repair services on customer-owned instruments while assisting in the maintenance of specific store inventory. Your work will continually build and increase the business through great customer experience and quality craftsmanship. You will interact with customers to ensure a positive experience, service instruments with a high level of skill, and complete warranty repair work.

Successful Repair Technicians at Guitar Center are characterized by their customer focus, initiative, and passion for the craft. You will connect with customers in a meaningful way, be approachable and knowledgeable, and step in to handle service issues. You will identify opportunities to capitalize on or resolve issues, learn quickly, and take positive action without being asked. Additionally, you will work through the GC certification program to gain a base understanding of products and sales techniques, and effectively train others on information and techniques.
