About the Role
As a Guest Advocate, you are an advocate of the guest experience, welcoming and thanking guests while exceeding service expectations. No two days are ever the same, but your role empowers you to make shopping quick and easy for guests at checklanes, guest services, gift registry, pick-up, and drive-up areas.
You will blend problem-solving and decision-making to positively impact the guest experience and resolve concerns. A typical day involves creating a welcoming atmosphere by greeting guests, engaging with them to solve specific needs, and making them aware of current promotions, store activities, and events. You will serve as a knowledgeable partner on in-store and digital services, helping guests understand and utilize the Target App, Wallet, Order Pick-Up, and Drive-Up features to drive loyalty.
This role thrives in a fast-moving, highly active environment where teamwork, flexibility, and creative problem-solving are key. You will work both independently and with a team to maintain a clean, clutter-free work area, ensure safety compliance, and support ethical conduct. Whether you are scanning items, handling returns, or assisting with loyalty enrollments, your goal is to ensure exceptional quality and make every guest happy they chose to shop at Target.
