About the Role
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Graphics Designer with a background in digital media, publication design, and user-centered web experiences. This role exists to support high-impact communications for our government client, ensuring that complex intelligence data is translated into clean, accessible, and engaging visual stories.
You will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment where visual storytelling is paramount. Your day will involve managing design concepts from ideation to final product, coordinating closely with UI/UX designers to ensure user-friendly experiences, and mentoring junior staff. Whether you are creating thematic maps, developing multimedia products, or refining responsive web designs, your work will directly contribute to the clarity and effectiveness of national intelligence communications.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleDevelop graphics, digital media, cartography, and other multimedia products
- check_circleCoordinate with UI/UX designers to ensure a user-friendly and engaging experience
- check_circleCreate designs for web pages, mobile apps, newsletters, infographics, ads, banners, illustrations, and logos
- check_circleManage design concepts from ideation to final product using HTML/CSS and responsive design principles
- check_circleProvide customer support using request management tools for communication products
- check_circleEnsure compliance with production standards, copyright laws, accessibility requirements, and public release clearances
- check_circleConduct technical quality reviews on all visual and multimedia products
- check_circleDeliver cartography support and design thematic/reference maps
- check_circleMentor and train junior staff as needed
Requirements
- verifiedBachelor's degree and 3+ years of relevant experience OR 9+ years without a degree
- verifiedTS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- verifiedProficient in Adobe InDesign and other Creative Suite tools
- verifiedSkilled in front-end web design, UI/UX, HTML/CSS
- verifiedExperience in publication design and data visualization
- verifiedPhotography and video editing skills
Nice to Have
Experience working within the Intelligence Community or government environment. Familiarity with accessibility and public release compliance standards. Prior mentorship or leadership in a multimedia or communications team.
