As a Journeyman Graphic Designer, you will be the creative engine behind high-stakes communication and intelligence products. This role exists to ensure that complex data and mission-critical information are translated into engaging, user-friendly, and compliant visual assets. You will partner with UI/UX designers in Knowledge Management to craft digital experiences that are both functional and impactful.
Your day will involve developing a diverse array of multimedia products, from cartography and thematic maps to web pages, mobile applications, and digital ads. You will manage the full lifecycle of design concepts, ensuring they meet rigorous production standards, accessibility compliance, and public release clearances. Beyond creation, you will utilize request management tools to provide swift customer support and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.
This is an onsite position located in Bethesda, MD. A critical prerequisite for this role is an active TS/SCI Polygraph security clearance; candidates must possess this up front.
