Reporting to the Vice President of Organizational Engagement, the Grants Administrator serves as the steward of Children First's grant portfolio. This role is central to our financial sustainability, responsible for organizing and managing the full lifecycle of grants—from initial research and application to award management and reporting. The Grants Administrator acts as a bridge between the organization's strategic priorities and the funding landscape, developing written proposals and maintaining strong relationships with prospective and current funders.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with the Director of Communications & Marketing to align publicity requirements and support Database Administration through precise data entry and gift management. The role requires sound judgment and discretion, particularly when handling sensitive donor information and financial records. You will also support broader fundraising initiatives, public relations, and events, serving as an engaging representative of Children First at community events, agency tours, and site visits.
Candidates selected for an interview will undergo a review process that includes regular coaching and feedback. Final selections are made based on performance during interviews and alignment with our organizational values. Successful candidates will be subject to annual evaluations and ongoing professional development.
